FENSA was established as a Competent Person Scheme (CPS) in April 2002 as a response to the Building Regulations for double glazing companies in England and Wales. As the market leader, FENSA is the largest and longest established Competent Person Scheme within the replacement window and door industry. We are fully trained and vigorously tested by FENSA, through practical and written exams. This means we are equipped with the skill and knowledge to isssue self-certified compliancedocuments under the Building Regulations without the need for a separate assessment from Building Control.

We strongly recommend you use a FENSA registered installation firm to carry out replacement works on your windows and doors. Firstly, this is to ensure your project is completed to high standards. Secondly, there is the reassurance that you are being served by an ethical company that cares about its responsibilities.
